HOW TO APPLY:

The prospectus along with application forms (for registration) is available in the college office on remittance of Rs. 1500 which will be non refundable.

1. B.SC NURSING (8 SEMESTER i.e. 4 YEARS DEGREE PROGRAMME):

For B.Sc. Nursing course candidate has to be appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by The Atal Medical & Research University, HP. Website: www.amruhp.ac.in

Eligibility for Admission to the B. Sc Nursing Undergraduate Degree Course:-

i. Female Children of Bonafide Himachali/Domicile/Himachal Govt. employees and employees of Autonomous bodies wholly or partially financed by the Himachal Pradesh Government will only be eligible to apply for admission to 4 years B.Sc. Nursing Degree Course through Entrance Test to be conducted by Atal Medical& Research University- NerChowk, Mandi, HP
ii. For filling up of 50% Management Quota Seats in Private un-aided B.Sc. Nursing Colleges in State of Himachal Pradesh, there will be no domicile requirement.
iii. The entry age of candidates should be 17 years as on 31st December, of the admission session and there is no upper age limit. The candidates will ensure that they must fulfill the above condition. Age as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be entertained.
iv. Admission to married candidates will be allowed subject to production of medical fitness certificate.
v. A candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from H.P. Board of SchoolEducation/AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCEoranyotherBoard/University established by law in India in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and with 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination will be 40% instead of 45% as stated above. Provided further that English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for ad- mission to B.Sc (Nursing) course. The candidate should be medically fit.

Note:

I. The candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination from National Institute of Open School or appeared in 10+2 examination Science (Medical) conducted by National Institute of Open School can also apply to this test.
II. The above qualifications will only determine the eligibility of a candidate for admission, but the actual basis of admission shall be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Test.
iii. The entry age of candidates should be 17 years as on 31st December, of the admission session and there is no upper age limit. The candidates will ensure that they must fulfill the above condition. Age as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be entertained.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION PROCESS

1. GNM NURSING (3 YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE)

No entrance exam is required. Candidate can directly get admission to GNM course. Candidate can directly get the prospectus from college and fill the application form
i. 10+2 with 40% marks from any recognized board.
ii. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and
iii. National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government.
iv. Age-Minimum entry age for admission will be 17years. (As on31stDecember of that year) and there is no upper age limit. The candidates will ensure that they must fulfill the above condition. Age as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be entertained.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ON ADMISSION:

The following certificates will be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission:-
a) Self-Attested copies of Detailed Mark Certificates of 10th/10+2/ and other higher examination passed by the candidates.
b) Character/Conduct Certificate issued by a Gazetted Officers(Tehsildar/SDM)andHead of the Institution (Principal) last attended.
c) CertificateofBonafideHimachaliorresidentcertificateoftheconcernedstate.
d) Original Migration Certificate from the board/university from which the candidate has passed her last examination.
e) Category/Sub-CategoryCertificateagainstwhichselectedi.e.OBC/SC/ST/IRDP/Ex- Servicemen/WFF/PH.
f) Anti-Ragging undertaking and Non Marriage Affidavit by the Student and Guardians on plane papers for later online mode submission.
g) 5-6PassportSizePhotograph.
h) Medical Fitness Certificate
i) Aadhar Card Copy

SYLLABUS

Syllabus for nursing courses i.e. B.Sc nursing &GNM will be followed as per the Indian Nursing Council norms.

EXAMINATION SCHEME

Semester wise examination of B.Sc nursing will be conducted and respective Degree will be awarded by Atal Medical& Research University-Nerchowk, Mandi- HP.

Annual examination of GNM will be conducted and Diploma for GNM will be awarded by Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council, Shimla.

ELIGIBILTY FOR EXAMINATION

A candidate must have minimum of 80% attendance of Theory and 100% attendance in each of the clinical areas is compulsory as per INC.
